This three-year-old Thorn Dancer filly trained by Fred Kersley has two wins from three starts. She resumed from a 24 week spell for a 0.95 maiden win over 1200m at Pinjarra Park on 6 June, then sprinted ahead in the final 100m for a 1.24 length win over 1300m at Belmont on 23 June. Both wins were on a soft track and she rates highly here.

This four-year-old Blackfriars mare has had three wins and a place from 12 starts. She kept coming gamely for 1.69 lengths 5th over 2200m at Belmont on 12 June, then didn’t go on when 11.3 lengths 11th of 16 over 2200m at Belmont on 26 June. Forgive her last start. Her wins have been from 2000n to 2300m and she is worth an each way bet.

Smashing (Belmont Race 4 No. 5):
This three-year-old Playing God filly trained by Neville Parnham is the early favourite in this 3YO No Metro Wins Last Year Handicap over 1000m. She was blocked the entire straight when 2.8 lengths 6th over 1200m at Ascot on 12 December, then led straightening but was overhauled late for 0.31, 0.08 length 3rd over 1216m at Bunbury on 30 December. Resumes here after 27 weeks and offers no value.

Best Bet Extremely Wicked (Balaklava Race 1 No. 3) Last preparation she was placed over 1000m at Cranbourne when first-up. She resumes from a long 41 week spell and won a recent trial here by over 14 lengths on 17th April. Looks hard to beat.

Best Bet Synergy In Motion (Beaudesert Race 7 No. 6) Led throughout to win by over 5 lengths over 1540m at Gold Coast Poly last start.
