Best Bets

Our Belmont Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.

Crypto Queen (Belmont Race 4 No. 3)
This three-year-old Sessions Filly has one win and two places from three starts. She kept finding as the winner edged past her late for 0.62 length 2nd over 1000m at Belmont on 26 May, then led into the straight but was picked off late for 1.14 length 2nd over 1000m at Belmont on 16 June. She should be on speed and rates very well here.

Each Way

Cheerful Moment (Belmont Race 3 No. 2):
This two-year-old Mongolian Khan colt has had two starts in New Zealand and is having his first start in Australia and coming to a new trainer. On debut he ran 3rd over 1200m at Te Rapa then he got well back early before finishing 5th over 1200m at Matamata on 17 March. He carries less weight here and looks a nice each-way chance.

Best Lay

Cristal Dane (Belmont Race 9 No. 4):
This five-year-old Patronize mare trained by Sharon Miller is the early favourite in this No Metro Wins Last Year Handicap over 1400m. She was slowly away and circled 6 wide on the turn to finish quickly for a length 4th in the Northam Traders Sprint over 1300m on 7 June, then ran on strongly for a length win over 1400m at Pinjarra Park on 24 June. She is on a six day back up and carries more weight. Others offer better value.

Key Comments The feature is the $40,000 City Of Port Augusta Cup over 2300m (race 6) that has already been rescheduled twice. The dirt track is rated good and the rail remains in the true position. Best Bet Regal Rocket (Port Augusta Race 4 No. 1) Kept chasing gamely to take late ground off the winner and finish 2nd over 1498m here last start. Winning chance. Horse Racing Tips: TAS Sunday 21st July 2024

Key Comments The track is rated as soft and the rail is +1 metre the entire circuit. As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with a slight advantage to those who land forward of midfield and can find a cart into the race from the wider lanes in the straight. Best Bet Es And Es (Hobart Race 3 No. 2) He’s been runner-up at his last 4 starts and is over

Horse Racing Tips: NSW Sunday 21st July 2024

Key Comments The track is in the soft range which suits the best bet who has been tough to catch lately but looks a big price stepping down in grade. Best Bet Cross The Rubicon (Hawkesbury Race 8 No. 3) Was a solid run last start when jumping far better and sent to the front. Ridden upside down but didn't mind the tactics. Schofield sticks for the ride, drops in grade and hasn't seen this kind of level for a few years now.

Horse Racing Tips: VIC Sunday 21st July 2024

Key Comments The rail is in the true position. The track is in the heavy range. Over the jumps for the entire day. The best bet is the favourite in the first. Best Bet Cadre Du Noir (Pakenham Race 3 No. 1) Can kick off the day a winner. Trials have been rock solid including a win and 2 seconds. Has a lovely map and Tom Ryan hops aboard for the first time. Hard to beat in these colours and finds a suitable
