Our Bunbury Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.

Smashing (Bunbury Race 2 No. 3)
This Playing God filly trained by Neville Parnham has a win and two places from eight starts. She finished 2.72 lengths 5th in the Listed Sir Ernest Lee-Steere Classic over 1400m at Ascot on 5 December, then was blocked the entire straight when 2.8 lengths 6th over 1200m at Ascot on 12 December. She has been racing at a higher grade than the other runners and looks the likely winner.

How to pick a winner

Each Way

Angelique’s Fame (Bunbury Race 4 No. 6):
This four-year-old mare has three wins and four places from 14 starts. She came from well back in the field for 0.21, 0.59 lengths 3rd over 1116m at Bunbury on 2 December with a good final 400m sectional, then loomed up in the straight but didn’t go on in the final 150m when the saddle shifted and finished 3.76 lengths 5th over 1200m at Bunbury on 13 December. She has has two placings from four runs this preparation and looks a good each-way bet again.

Best Lay

Rebel Heart (Bunbury Race 6 No. 8):
This three-year-old More Than Ready filly is the early favourite in this Class 1 handicap over 1705m. She debuted with 7 lengths 8th over 1200m at Belmont on 15 July before a 22 week spell. On resuming she fought to edge ahead late for a 0.41 length win in a maiden over 1500m at Ascot on 16 December. She has to carry 2kg more and  doesn’t represent value.

Key Comments There are 10 races. The track is rated Soft 5 and the rail is in the true position. Best Bet Garachico (Murray Bridge Race 3 No. 2) Garachico was runner-up twice over this distance before finishing well back behind The Map in the Andrew Ramsden at Flemington last Saturday. He’ll go forward from the inside barrier and be hard to run down. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo Jackson Each Way El Paso Citie

Horse Racing Tips: VIC Saturday 25th May 2024

Key Comments The track is in the soft range. The rail is true. The best bet resumed with an emphatic win and should be able to go on with things. The best each way bet is due for some luck and looks well placed in its field. Best Bet Fasuto (Sandown Race 4 No. 1) Brilliant win resuming when beating a BM70 field with complete ease. Has always shown glimpses of talent across its career and the penny may well and truly have

Horse Racing Tips: NSW Friday 24th May 2024

Key Comments The rail is in 4 metres. The track is in the soft range. The best bet went mighty close for us last start and can atone in this race. Best Bet Chaotic Beauty (Goulburn Race 5 No. 3) Thought the steer was really poor two back when given far too much work to do when narrowly missing in this grade when heavily backed. Keatings sticks aboard and she can have it more within range this time around. Forget last run when
