Our Belmont Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.
Said No One Ever (Belmont Race 10 No. 2)
This four-year-old Deep Field gelding has three win and three places from 12 starts. He raced three wide with no cover and was unable to stick on after a tough run and finished 4.87 lengths 10th over 1600m at Belmont on 22 May, then was a strong 3.96 length winner over 1650m at Belmont on soft going on 16 June. On a seven day back-up and has won two from five starts this campaign. Looks the winner.

Comealilbitcloser (Belmont Race 7 No. 3):
This three-year-old gelding has one win and six places from 13 starts. At the end of last campaign he just battled when 4.1 lengths 8th over 1400m at Bunbury on 11 February then was spelled for 16 weeks. He resumed for 2.28 lengths 2nd over 1200m at Belmont on 9 June . He can handle a soft track and is worth an each-way bet.

Aragain (Belmont Race 8 No. 4):
This four-year-old Niagara mare trained by Daniel Morton is the early favourite in this Class 3 Handicap over 2200m. She was a contender until she peaked at the 125m and finished 3.53 lengths 7th over 1600m at Belmont on 22 May, then was overhauled in the final 125m for 2.59 lengths 4th over 2100m at Belmont on 29 May. Not sure the rise in distance will suit and am looking elsewhere.

Horse Racing Tips: TAS Sunday 28th April 2024
Key Comments The track is Soft and the rail is +4 metres the entire circuit. As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with a slight advantage to those who land forward of midfield and can find a cart into the race from the wider lanes in the straight. Best Bet Sky Land (Hobart Race 1 No. 10) This 2YO filly takes on the older horses here but has been very game

Key Comments There are 7 races on a Good track where the rail is in the true position. Best Bet Lord Valen (Strathalbyn Race 2 No. 3) He’s been runner-up at both starts this campaign, at Murray Bridge then Balaklava. He gets his chance to lose his maiden status here. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo Jackson Each Way Tennessee Maggie (Strathalbyn Race 4 No. 12) Tennessee Magic was runner-up at Gawler last start and should

Key Comments Features are the $75,000 The Fitzroy Open over 1300m (race 6) and $775,000 The Archer over 1300m (race 7). The track is rated Soft and the rail is +2.5m the entire circuit. Best Bet Penman (Rockhampton Race 5 No. 3) Last start he led most of the way on a bog track before being overhauled late. On a better track he should be hard to beat. Horse Racing Tips: VIC Sunday 28th April 2024
Key Comments 8 race card with a few short favourites that look hard to beat. The best bet comes up in race 5 and is knocking on the door for a win. Best Bet Subrising (Ballarat Race 5 No. 6) Comes off the back of 2 second placings and Egan will ride from the wide draw. A lot to like about the past few runs and looks a better hope than the favourite who may just get too far back in this.
