Our Ascot Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.

Aberdeen Queen (Ascot Race 8 No. 1)
This four-year-old Universal Ruler mare has four wins and two places from eight starts and resumes here from a 16 week spell. She led but was run down late for 0.45 length 2nd over 1600m at Belmont on 11 July, then worked into the race to finish 0.54, 0.61 lengths 3rd over 1400m at Belmont on 25 July. Her win strike rate of 50% is superior to any other runner and the 3kg claim will help. Looks the likely winner.

Each Way

Deputano (Ascot Race 7 No. 8):
This four-year-old mare has three wins and five places from 14 starts. She fought hard to get there late for a 0.43 length win over 1600m at Ascot on 28 October, then never really got clear when 3.4 lengths 9th over 1800m at Ascot on 7 November. She is worth another chance and looks worth an each-way bet.

Dew West (Ascot Race 5 No. 3):
This four-year-old mare is the early favourite in this Class 3 handicap over 1000m. At the end of last campaign she ran 0.09. 0.64 lengths 3rd over 1200m at Pinjarra Park on 25 June before an 18 week spell. She resumed for 2.66 lengths 5th over 1000m at Ascot on 31 October.  She has won once second-up but has not won in five starts at this track and others look to have better prospects.
