Our Ascot Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

Miss Conteki (Ascot Race 7 No. 5)
This four-year-old mare trained by Simon Miller has six wins from her seven starts. She wound up gamely and arrived late for a 0.27 length win over 1000m at Ascot on 27 March with the best final 400m of the meeting, then took over at the 200m and won by a length over 1200m at Ascot on 17 April. She is a track specialist who is absolutely flying and only bad luck can beat her.

Each Way

Black Shadow (Ascot Race 4 No. 4):
This six-year-old Trade Fair gelding has seven wins and six places from 35 starts. He edged ahead late for a 0.77 length win over 1800m at Ascot on 3 April, then was grabbed in the last stride for 0.12 length 2nd over 1800m at Ascot on 17 April. He is very fit and has won over the 2200m before. Looks an excellent each-way bet.

Mini Winnie (Ascot Race 9 No. 12):
This four-year-old Danehill Express gelding is the early favourite in this RTG 66+ Handicap over 1400m. He ran on strongly drawing clear in the final 125m for a 0.75 length win over 1410m at Bunbury on 31 March, then looked the winner at the 100m before finishing 0.3 length 2nd over 1400m at Ascot on 17 April. He has not won at Ascot in six visits to the track and I am prepared to risk him here.
