Our Belmont Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

Amasenus (Belmont Race 7 No. 3)
This four-year-old Time For War mare trained by Simon Miller has five wins and two places from 12 starts, and has won her last four starts in a row. She charged ahead late for a 0.83 length win over 1200m at Ascot on 27 March , then returned from a 10 week break to come from last and get there in the final stride for a narrow win over 1000m at Belmont on 5 June. The 1200m suits and she should win again.

Each Way

Miss Frost (Belmont Race 6 No. 10):
This five-year-old Frost Giant mare trained by Luke Fernie has four wins and seven places from 15 starts. At the end of last campaign she took over late but was swamped late for 0.04, 0.04 length 3rd over 1200m at Ascot on 19 December, then resumed after 23 weeks for 2.53 lengths 5th over 1000m at Belmont on 29 May. She has placed in three of her four second-up runs and looks a good each-way bet.

Best Lay

Agent Jay (Belmont Race 4 No. 1):
This four-year-old Snippetson gelding is the early favourite in this Graduation Handicap One Metropolitan win race over 1000m. When resuming after 17 weeks he was only run down late for 1.4 lengths 5th over 1000m at Belmont on 29 May, then tried hard for a close 2nd over 1200m at Belmont on 12 June. Has not won in three outings at Belmont and  others offer better value.

Horse Racing Tips: VIC Friday 17th May 2024

Key Comments The rail is out 9 metres the entire way. The best bet comes up in the last race of the day and is progressive enough to go right on with things. Best Bet Hypeman (Cranbourne Race 8 No. 6) Won nicely breaking maiden and looks progressive enough to go on with things here. Can bounce to the front from barrier 1 and looks a suitable race for Ethan Brown to take out. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Bryce Parker

Horse Racing Tips: NSW Friday 17th May 2024

Key Comments The feature race is the Scone Cup (race 8). The rail is in the true position. The best bet looks a sure thing. Best Bet La Pleine Lune (Scone Race 5 No. 3) Absolutely romped in on debut. Concede it was in the right part of the track when the rail as hot however the race rated well, it had plenty more to give and the runner up has walked in since. Looks the good thing of all good things.

Horse Racing Tips: Happy Valley, Wednesday 15th May 2024

Key Comments There is a 9-race program under the lights at Happy Valley. The rail is in the C position for the meeting, and the skies are clear so the track should be a Good 4. The first race is at 6.40pm Hong Kong time which is 8.40pm AEST. Best Bet Turin Warrior (Happy Valley Race 7 No. 3) Last-start winner at this track and distance. He’s drawn well and Karis Teetan sticks. Strong chance. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo Jackson

Horse Racing Tips: NSW Thursday 16th May 2024

Key Comments The track is in the heavy range. The rail is in the true position. The best bet comes up in the second race with Gibbons to steer. Best Bet Declichy Boulevard (Gosford Race 2 No. 8) Trials have been rock solid. Found open company too slick on debut but also had excuses on the day. Comes out of the right form race, finds Gibbons to ride and looks a major player in this suitable race. Hard to beat. Check odds
