Truly Great (Ascot Race 5 No. 9)

He resumed from an 11 week break for a 1.04 length win over 1600m at Ascot on 10 October, then took over at the 200m and won by 1.83 lengths over 1600m at Ascot on 31 October. Stageman (Ascot Race 8 No. 6):
This six-year-old Written Tycoon gelding trained by Trevor Andrews has eight wins and 10 places from 24 starts. He wound-up gamely for 0.19, 0.04 length 3rd in the Listed R.S. Crawford Stakes over 1000m at Ascot on 17 October, then came from last for 1.05 length 4th in the Listed Prince Of Wales Stakes over 1000m at Ascot on 31 October. The extra 100m will benefit him and he looks a good each-way chance.
