Excelida has done more than enough in two runs back from a spell. She was unsuited by the slow pace when finishing third first up at Flemington, then made up solid ground against the pattern of the day last start at Caulfield. Comes back to Wednesday grade now and gets Damian Oliver back on who knows her well.

Bottom Line has come up as the early favourite in race five on the card. He won an easier assignment last start at Geelong and may find himself in a tricky position from an inside gate. Happy to bet around him here.
