Best Bets

Our Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday meeting.

High Risk (Sandown Hillside Race 6 No. 8):

High Risk races well at this track and this is an easier assignment than what she faced at Flemington last start when third behind Express Pass.  She gets in with just 52kg after Lachlan Neidorfs claim and should get a lovely run from barrier seven.  Looks ready to win.

Each Way

Excelida (Sandown Hillside Race 7 No. 2):

Excelida has done more than enough in two runs back from a spell.  She was unsuited by the slow pace when finishing third first up at Flemington, then made up solid ground against the pattern of the day last start at Caulfield.  Comes back to Wednesday grade now and gets Damian Oliver back on who knows her well.

Best Lay

Bottom Line (Sandown Hillside Race 5 No. 10):

Bottom Line has come up as the early favourite in race five on the card.  He won an easier assignment last start at Geelong and may find himself in a tricky position from an inside gate.  Happy to bet around him here.
