UK import having his second Australian start. He was heavily backed first up first at Pakenham where he sat outside the leader and booted clear to win by 5.8 lengths. He should roll forward again here from a wide gate and with Jamie Kah going on can keep his unbeaten Australian record intact. Looks a real talent!

Sonaree (Sandown Lakeside Lakeside Race 8 No. 1):
Sonaree is second up from a spell. He finished fourth at Caulfield first up, fighting on well after riding a fast speed. He is a horse that improves significantly with a run under his belt and has a good Sandown record. I’ve mapped him outside lead again here and if he can find that spot I think he can be in this for a long way.

Queen Guinevere (Sandown Lakeisde Race 3 No. 2):
Queen Guinevere has come up as the early favourite in race number three on the card. She was okay last time out on her home track at Bendigo but doesn’t win out of turn. This looks an even contest so I am happy to risk her given she is the clear favourite in the early betting.
