He’s The Real Deel has gone to a new level this preparation. He resumed with an easy 2.8 length victory on the Lakeside track on August 1, then bolted in by 5 lengths on the Hillside track last time out. He maps to roll forward again here from an outside barrier and should take plenty of catching.

Oceans Thirteen (Sandown Lakeside Race 6 No. 3):
Ocean’s Thirteen is a noted on pacer who settled worse than midfield in the run first up, however was still able to hit the line strongly from that position in a high rating race. I think she will be ridden further forward second up with the 3kg claimer engaged and may take some getting past on a track which historically favours on pace runners.

Narvaez (Sandown Lakeside Race 7 No. 10):
Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Botts four year old gelding Narvaez has come up the early favourite in race seven on the card. He will roll forward and make his own luck here but I thought his recent jump out was only fair and he is yet to win in three previous first up attempts.
