Our Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday meeting.

Cecil Street Lad (Sandown Hillside Race 1 No. 4):

Well bred debutant from the Richard Laming yard at Cranbourne.  She has worked to the line very strongly in two recent Cranbourne jump outs and should get a lovely run from barrier four for the in form Dean Holland.  Appears well above average!

Ghodeleine (Sandown Hillside Race 5 No. 1):

This six year old mare stormed home from the back here first up, running the fastest last 200m of the entire meeting on her way to finishing third.  That form has since been franked with the second horse, King Magnus winning at Caulfield on Saturday.  Leale should roll forward and ensure a genuine tempo which will give Ghodeleine her chance to run over the top of them from the back.

Twist Of Fury (Sandown Hillside Race 2 No. 1):

Twisty Of Fury has come up favourite in the second race on the card.  She was much better suited last start when scooting around the tight turning track at Cranbourne to win.  This is a much deeper race and she loses Jamie Kah for the apprentice rider.

Best Bet | Race 6 #11 So Clever Listed as first emergency but I’d be surprised if he doesn’t get a run. This John Moore-trained 4yo has won his only two starts and looks to have a bright future. He handled the step up from maiden to Class 1 with ease when winning at Ipswich a fortnight ago and the form around him looks solid with the second place-getter (Super Gorgeous) coming out and winning again. This looks a very winnable BM72 for a horse on the rise such as

At the end of last campaign he raced three wide with no cover and battled gamely for a narrow win over 1200m at Morphettville on 6 February. After 21 weeks he resumed with a 0.2 length win over 1200m at Murray Bridge. Three of his wins were on soft tracks and he will

Best Bets Our Doomben Horse Racing Tips for the weekend. Hinged (Doomben Race 1 No. 1) This two-year-old Worthy Cause filly trained by Michael Nolan at Toowoomba has four wins and two places from six starts. She began well and led narrowly and despite hanging in she drew away late for a 1.3 length win over 1350m at Ipswich on 2 July, then she hit the front and hung in the final 300m but held on for a 0.5 length win over 1350m at Doomben on 10

Best Bets Our Belmont Horse Racing Tips for the weekend. The feature is the Listed H.G. Bolton Sprint (race 8). Zaratite (Belmont Race 4 No. 2) This five-year-old Animal Kingdom gelding trained by Grant & Alana Williams has four wins and five 2nd places from 10 starts. He returned from 93 weeks off the track for 0.48 length 2nd over 1600m at Belmont on 12 June, then ran on strongly but was outmuscled late on a heavy track over 1650m at Belmont on 10 July. Is well
