Aravene, a daughter of Fastnet Rock, made her way into our black book after a lovely return over 1400m at Flemington on Anzac Day. After being held up for much of the straight, she made really nice late ground under minimal riding to finish on the heels of the place getters. Draws a perfect barrier for this second up assignment and is suited stepping up in trip.

Imperial Hilton has been jumping out well ahead of this first up assignment. He was good winner at his only start this track and trip which was also first up and he won’t have to do any work from barrier three. Gets in well at the weights after Celine Gaudray’s claim and will go close here with even luck.
