Our Sandown Lakeside Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.

Garvoc (Sandown Lakeside Race 8 No. 2):

This four year-old mare trained by Mick Price & Michael Kent Jnr had no luck at all last start at Moonee Valley.  She was bolting on the turn but had no where to go and went to the line virtually untested.  Prior she was an impressive first up winner in a strong benchmark 64 at Geelong.  This looks a perfect assignment for her third up with Campbell Rawiller taking over the reigns.

Breasley (Sandown Lakeside Lakeside Race 5 No. 7):

This three year-old son of Adelaide didn’t have the best of luck when running third in a strong Sale maiden on debut.  Then at Yarra Valley last start, he missed the kick but was still able to power home from the back to win by two lengths.  He looks to have plenty of scope and I think he is capable of running a big race here at an each-way price.

Best Lay

Shepard (Sandown Lakeisde Race 3 No. 1):

Shepard has come up as the early favourite in race three on the card.  He was able to notch up his fifth win here last start after Will Price controlled a moderate staying event from the front.  This race has much more depth to it and he doesn’t represent any value at the current price.
