Our Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.
Holster (Sandown Hillside Race 4 No. 5):
This four year old son of Tavistock has had three runs this preparation and all have been full of merit. He was able to win against the pattern of the day two starts ago at Werribee and then last start was back and wide but still closed off strongly. Michael Dee should be able to find a much better position in the run from an inside gate and he looks well placed to bring up his second win of the preparation.

Criminal (Sandown Hillside Race 7 No. 6):
Talented three year old gelding who has won two of eight career starts. He has jumped out very nicely at Balnarring recently and gets the services of Jamie Kah first up here. There looks good speed on paper which should be favourable as he will likely settle back from a wide alley and be saved for one last crack at them.

Prism (Sandown Hillside Race 6 No. 4):
Prism has come up as the early favourite in race number six on Wednesday. He is a consistent type who won his last start here on the Lakeside track at Sandown by 1.3 lengths. He had conditions to suit on that occasion though, given he had a soft time of it in the lead and the track was also favouring the on pace runners. This is a much stronger race and it won’t surprise to see him drift out in the betting as we get closer to the jump.

Best Bet French Endeavour (Warwick Farm Race 5 No. 4) Comes into this off the back of heavily claims after scoring for us last run when settling up on speed and careering away for a cruisy win.
