It is a low percentage play backing horses that settle off the speed however I do believe there is a very bright future ahead for Alison Road. She absolutely screamed home from nowhere last start when heavily backed. Out to the 1200 looks very suitable, she has seen the track and Zahra will be aiming to get her into open air. Hard to beat in this.

Sharwin (Pakenham Race 5 No. 8)
Handy when right and a bomb when fresh. Likeable that Sharwin returns to Pakenham where it put away a good field and did it with ease. Maps to find the front without a lot of fuss and this is a suitable trip for it. The $3.10 is a solid bet.

Zoutellus (Pakenham Race 6 No. 5)
Zoutellus has plenty of ability however it continues to find one or two better in its races and the 1 win from 18 career starts is quite concerning. Sets up well with the map in this but again you have to question its winning strike rate and I am surprised it has opened up favourite.
