Annika (Morphettville Race 5 No. 4)
This four-year-old Toronado mare has three wins and four places from 14 starts. She didn’t come on as expected when she weakened to the line for 8.8 lengths 10th over 1400m at Murray Bridge on 9 January, then she drove through to the lead and was never in doubt winning by 2.4 lengths over 1250m at Morphettville Parks on 19 February. She has won previously at this track and distance and should win again.

Narrative Star (Morphettville Race 9 No. 9):
This four-year-old mare trained by Tony McAvoy has two wins from five starts. At the end of last campaign she weakened right out in the final 300m to finish 8.4 lengths 13th over 1100m at Morphettville on 15 August before a 25 week spell. She resumed for a 0.3 length win over 1100m at Gawler on 10 February and having won second-up last campaign she looks worth an each-way bet.

Angaston (Morphettville Race 7 No. 10):
This four-year-old Ambidexter gelding is the early favourite in this BM 78 Handicap over 1400m. He took over at the 200m and went away for a 1.5 length win over 1400m at Pakenham Park on 4 February, then battled away for 0.9 length 4th over 1400m at Morphettville Parks on 13 February. With three wins from 21 starts he doesn’t win out of turn and I’m prepared to risk him here.

Best Bet Vizie (Ararat Race 8 No. 6) Solid win last start and can go on with it now.
