Our Murray Bridge Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

Karacasu (Murray Bridge Race 6 No. 1)
This three-year-old Headwater gelding trained by Richard & Chantelle Jolly has three wins and five places from 10 starts. He let down strongly and came clear in the final 200m for a 4.5 length win over 1200m at Murray Bridge on 28 May, then chased hard between runners for 2 lengths 3rd in the Listed A.R. Creswick Stakes over 1200m at Flemington on 18 June. Looks a big chance.

Each Way

Smiling Assassin (Murray Bridge Race 8 No. 3):
This five-year-old Rebel Raider gelding trained by Garret Lynch has five wins and 14 places from 43 starts. He wound up from the top of the straight and stormed home down the outside for a 2 length win over 2500m at Murray Bridge on 13 June, then came from the back of the field to gather in the leader late for a 0.4 length win over 2500m at Morphettville on 25 June. On a seven day back-up and looking for a hat-trick of wins at this distance. Looks a great each-way chance.

Pimm’s Party (Murray Bridge Race 7 No. 9):
This four-year-old Street Boss mare is the early favourite in this BM 68 handicap over 1200m. She ran on strongly from well back to grab 3 lengths 3rd over 1250m at Morphettville on heavy going on 4 June, then was badly held up in the straight before 2.6 lengths 6th over 1200m at Murray Bridge on 18 June. Gets well back in her races and I’m happy to let her go around without me.

Horse Racing Tips: VIC Friday 17th May 2024

Key Comments The rail is out 9 metres the entire way. The best bet comes up in the last race of the day and is progressive enough to go right on with things. Best Bet Hypeman (Cranbourne Race 8 No. 6) Won nicely breaking maiden and looks progressive enough to go on with things here. Can bounce to the front from barrier 1 and looks a suitable race for Ethan Brown to take out. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Bryce Parker

Horse Racing Tips: NSW Friday 17th May 2024

Key Comments The feature race is the Scone Cup (race 8). The rail is in the true position. The best bet looks a sure thing. Best Bet La Pleine Lune (Scone Race 5 No. 3) Absolutely romped in on debut. Concede it was in the right part of the track when the rail as hot however the race rated well, it had plenty more to give and the runner up has walked in since. Looks the good thing of all good things.

Horse Racing Tips: Happy Valley, Wednesday 15th May 2024

Key Comments There is a 9-race program under the lights at Happy Valley. The rail is in the C position for the meeting, and the skies are clear so the track should be a Good 4. The first race is at 6.40pm Hong Kong time which is 8.40pm AEST. Best Bet Turin Warrior (Happy Valley Race 7 No. 3) Last-start winner at this track and distance. He’s drawn well and Karis Teetan sticks. Strong chance. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo Jackson
