He jumped awkwardly and was inconvenienced but really tried hard and grabbed 2nd over 1000m at Morphettville Parks on 30 May, then took control in the final 50m for a length win over 1000m at Murray Bridge on 13 June. He goes fresh and looks a winning chance

Chucky (Morphettville Parks Race 8 No. 1):
This five-year-old Danerich gelding ran in the Listed Redelva Stakes as a three-year-old so must have shown potential, then didn’t race for 68 weeks. He resumed for 1.3 lengths 4th over 1100m at Gawler on 5 August, then was back 14th before running on strongly to grab second over 1100m at Morphettville on 15 August with a terrific run. Looks a good each-way bet.

This eight-year-old gelding is the early favourite in this 2250m BM 78 handicap. He kept battling away for 2.7 lengths 4th over 1950m at Morphettville Parks on 18 July, then worked over to lead on the rails but was grabbed in the straight for 0.1 length 2nd over 2006m at Morphettville on 15 August. He has had 11 starts this preparation ad hasn’t won yet, so I am only expecting him to place here
