Our Morphettville Parks Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

Dimaggio (Morphettville Parks Race 6 No. 1)
This four-year-old Deep Field gelding has had 4 starts for 2 wins and a place and resumes here after an 11 week let-up. He jumped awkwardly and was inconvenienced but really tried hard and grabbed 2nd over 1000m at Morphettville Parks on 30 May, then took control in the final 50m for a length win over 1000m at Murray Bridge on 13 June. He goes fresh and looks a winning chance

Each Way

Chucky (Morphettville Parks Race 8 No. 1):
This five-year-old Danerich gelding ran in the Listed Redelva Stakes as a three-year-old so must have shown potential, then didn’t race for 68 weeks. He resumed for 1.3 lengths 4th over 1100m at Gawler on 5 August, then was back 14th before running on strongly to grab second over 1100m at Morphettville on 15 August with a terrific run. Looks a good each-way bet.

Best Lay

Andrea Mantegna (Morphettville Parks Race 4 No. 2):
This eight-year-old gelding is the early favourite in this 2250m BM 78 handicap. He kept battling away for 2.7 lengths 4th over 1950m at Morphettville Parks on 18 July, then worked over to lead on the rails but was grabbed in the straight for 0.1 length 2nd over 2006m at Morphettville on 15 August. He has had 11 starts this preparation ad hasn’t won yet, so I am only expecting him to place here

Key Comments The track is rated as soft and the rail is +1 metre the entire circuit. As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with a slight advantage to those who land forward of midfield and can find a cart into the race from the wider lanes in the straight. Best Bet Es And Es (Hobart Race 3 No. 2) He’s been runner-up at his last 4 starts and is over

Horse Racing Tips: WA Sunday 21st July 2024

He likes to go to the front and then stay there and will be hard to bet. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo Jackson Each Way Calico Kid (Carnarvon Race 3 No. 5) Calico Kid ran

Horse Racing Tips: NSW Sunday 21st July 2024

Key Comments The track is in the soft range which suits the best bet who has been tough to catch lately but looks a big price stepping down in grade. Best Bet Cross The Rubicon (Hawkesbury Race 8 No. 3) Was a solid run last start when jumping far better and sent to the front. Ridden upside down but didn't mind the tactics. Schofield sticks for the ride, drops in grade and hasn't seen this kind of level for a few years now.
