He battled on gamely to just miss for 0.1 length 2nd over 1550m at Bordertown on 6 January, then never looked in doubt when winning by 3 lengths over 1400m at Morphettville Parks on 6 March. He has a great record at this track and distance and should win again.

This three-year-old Unencumbered gelding has been in the money at all four starts with one win and three places. At the end of last campaign he battled away for 1.7, 0.6 lengths 3rd over 1400m at Morphettville Parks, then resumed after 18 weeks for 1.4 lengths 2nd over 1200m at Murray Bridge on 27 February. He worked home really nicely in a race where the tempo didn’t suit and looks a nice bet at each-way odds.

This four-year-old Reward For Effort gelding is the early favourite in this Class 2 Handicap over 1000m. He won a BM 60 handicap by 1.1 lengths over 1000m at Morphettville Parks on 13 February, then chased solidly for 0.6 length 2nd over 1200m at Morphettville on 20 February. This is a wide open race and he offers no value.
