He resumed after 19 weeks for 4.3 lengths 7th over 1000m at Pakenham Park Synthetic on 10 July, then ran on strongly to take the lead at the 100m and race clear for a 2 length win over 1130m at Geelong on 31 July. He has drawn the rails and with jockey Todd Pannell he should be able to win again.

This Rothesay gelding has a big weight to carry but has been going well this campaign. He came from well back in the field to draw clear over the final 100m for a 1.8 length win over 1550m on a soft track at Morphettville Parks on 27 June, then came from well back again but peaked late for 0.9 length 2nd over 1550m on a soft track at Morphettville Parks on 1 July. He is very consistent and is worth an each-way bet.

The early favourite in this 2006m BM 78 handicap is this Giant’s Causeway gelding. He finished 1.4 lengths 4th over 2100m on a soft track at Gawler on 11 July, then battled away for 2.7 lengths 4th over 1950m at Morphettville Parks on 18 July. There are many chances in the race and he does not represent value.
