Alleboom (Morphettville Race 1 No. 3)
This three-year-old Spirit Of Boom colt has four wins and two places from seven starts. He did best in the last few strides to win by 0.5 length over 1000m at Flemington on 3 November, then led all the way and kept finding for a 1.2 length win over 1100m at Morphettville on 28 November. Resuming here after 11 weeks he has won first-up before and looks the likely winner.

Olympic Spirit (Morphettville Race 4 No. 5):
This four-year-old gelding trained by Daniel Bowman at Warrnambool has been going well at longer distances. He chased hard the entire straight for a length 2nd over 2200m at Camperdown on 16 January, then took over straightening for an easy 3.25 length win over 2600m at Werribee on 29 January. He is in good form and looks worth an each-way bet.

Lord Vladivostock (Morphettville Race 9 No. 2):
This four-year-old Tavistock gelding trained by Michael Hickmott is the early favourite in this BM 68 Handicap over 1400m. He scored a 2.5 length win over 1600m at Morphettville on 12 September before an 18 week spell, then resumed for 3.4 lengths 8th over 1400m at Murray Bridge on 16 January. His wins are over 1600m to 2100m so this may be too short for him.
