This Night of Thunder filly trained by Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas has two wins and three places from six starts. She resumed after 20 weeks for 2.1 lengths 2nd over 1200m at Morphettville on 31 October, then fought gamely when challenged for a narrow win over 1250m at Morphettville Parks on 25 November. With the 3kg claim she carries less weight and can win again.

Don’tdreamit’sover (Morphettville Race 9 No. 6):
This five-year-old gelding trained by Michael Hickmott has a win and three places from six starts. He came from well back to finish 2.1, 1.8 lengths 3rd over 1250m at Morphettville Parks on 3 October, then got well back again and ran on late for 2.3 lengths 4th over 1300m at Morphettville Parks on 25 November. Should relish the extra distance and looks a nice each-way bet.

Westport (Morphettville Race 5 No. 8):
This four-year-old Not A Single Doubt mare trained by Tony McEvoy is the early favourite in this BM 72 Handicap over 1100m. She chased steadily for 3.55 lengths 7th in the Mornington Guineas over 1600m on 21 March. then steadily weakened out for 5.8 lengths 5th over 1400m at Morphettville Parks on 11 April, then went to the spelling paddock. Resuming here she has won once from three first-up and doesn’t represent a value bet.
