Our Morphettville Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

Reflect The Stars (Morphettville Race 1 No. 3)
This six-year-old Starspangledbanner mare trained by Danny O’Brien has three wins and 11 places from 27 starts. She chased solidly for 2.7 lengths 2nd over 2500m at Moonee valley on 21 August, then got close when 0.5 length 3rd over 2400m at Sandown Lakeside on 1 September. Has placed at her last three starts in Melbourne and should win here.

Each Way

Lohn Ranger  (Morphettville Race 7 No. 3):
This six-year-old O’lonhro gelding trained by John Macmillan has three wins and seven places from 17 starts. He kept battling gamely for 0.7 length 3rd over 1000m at Murray Bridge on 7 August, then kept kicking gamely to lead all the way for a 0.8 length win over 1050m at Morphettville on 21 August. Likely to race on the speed and looks an excellent each-way chance.

Best Lay

Hinchpin (Morphettville Race 4 No. 4):
This five-year-old Hinchinbrook gelding trained by Tony & Calvin McEvoy has one win and five places from nine starts and is the early favourite in this BM 68 handicap over 1600m. He worked home solidly for 3.4 lengths 2nd over 1400m at Murray Bridge on 7 August, then drove hard for 0.1 length 2nd over 1400m at Morphettville Parks on 28 August. I expect him to place again, but not to win.

Horse Racing Tips: VIC Friday 3rd May 2024

Key Comments The rail is true. The best bet is off the back of a strong second placing and looks hard to hold out launching from the good draw. Best Bet Red Red Wine (Echuca Race 8 No. 5) He has been hard to catch lately but was keen on him earlier this prep when he was smashed in the market and ran on well in a higher grade than this. Gets his chance in this field and should relish the drop in

Horse Racing Tips: WA Saturday 4th May 2024

Key Comments The feature is the Group 3 WA Sires' Produce Stakes (race 7). The track is rated Soft and the rail is +7 metres the entire circuit. Best Bet Profit Pocket (Ascot Race 2 No. 3) She’s won all 3 starts this campaign at Esperance, Ascot and Pinjarra At her last 2 wins she’s raced outside the leader before taking over for dominant wins. Think she can do it again. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo Jackson

Horse Racing Tips: VIC Saturday 4th May 2024

Key Comments The rail is out 8 metres. The track played well last time. Suspect with the rail out that far it may suit those on speed. The best bet looks double the price it should be. Best Bet Cadmus (Caulfield Heath Race 3 No. 1) Hard to beat. Brilliant return up a few grades than this and looks superbly treated in this with the drop in grade. Smart move with the claim and is 1/1 over this trip. Check odds on

Horse Racing Tips: QLD Friday 3rd May 2024

Key Comments The track is rated soft and the rail is in true position for the 10 race meeting. Best Bet Flying D'amore (Kilcoy Race 4 No. 5) Filly from the Annabel Neasham stable who resumed for 5th over 1200m at Doomben on 17th April. Will find this easier and looks the leading chance. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo Jackson Each Way Sly Corner (Kilcoy Race 7 No. 2) Resumes from a 30 week spell
