Our Doomben Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.
Tamilaide (Doomben Race 6 No. 6)
This three-year-old Adelaide gelding trained by Les Kelly has two wins and a place from three starts. He was slowly away and ran on from well back in the field for 1.25 lengths 2nd over 1400m at Eagle Farm on 25 February before a 10 week break, then took over at the 200m and raced away for a 2.75 length win over 1300m on a heavy track at Gold Coast on 12 May. Looks the leading hope again.

Bofors (Doomben Race 4 No. 6):
This three-year-old More Than Ready gelding has had two wins and four places from 11 starts. He was held up to the 200m then ran on to just miss for 0.2 length 2nd over 1350m at Ipswich on 3 May, then came from the back half of the field to ake over at the 100m and power home for a 1.25 length win over 1400m at Gold Coast on 22 May. Looks a great each-way bet.

Super Gorgeous (Doomben Race 1 No. 2):
This three-year-old Zoustar gelding has raced once and is the early favourite in this maiden handicap over 1050m. He had several trials before racing, then led clearly at the 800m and kept the lead into the straight where he was run late for 0.4, 0.1 length 3rd over 100m at Ipswich on 19 May. He has drawn the outside barrier here and offers no value.

Key Comments Wagga Cup Day. The Gold Cup is the feature and it is race 7. The best bet is in the feature. Best Bet Fawkner Park (Wagga Riverside Race 7 No. 7) Happy to risk him with the wide draw. Last win was so dominant and you can fan wide and win on this track. Very difficult barrier but backing in Schiller. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Bryce Parker Each Way Cruizingdafield (Wagga

Key Comments 10 race program. The features include the Hawkesbury Gold Rush (race 5), Hawkesbury Crown (race 6), Hawkesbury Guineas (race 7), Hawkesbury Gold Cup (race 8). Best Bet Gentileschi (Hawkesbury Race 3 No. 9) Has stacks of upside and a lot to like about the past 2 wins. Rises in grade but looks a promising type that can notch up another win here. Key Comments The rail is true. The best bet is off the back of a strong second placing and looks hard to hold out launching from the good draw. Best Bet Red Red Wine (Echuca Race 8 No. 5) He has been hard to catch lately but was keen on him earlier this prep when he was smashed in the market and ran on well in a higher grade than this. Gets his chance in this field and should relish the drop in

Key Comments The feature is the Group 3 WA Sires' Produce Stakes (race 7). The track is rated Soft and the rail is +7 metres the entire circuit. Best Bet Profit Pocket (Ascot Race 2 No. 3) She’s won all 3 starts this campaign at Esperance, Ascot and Pinjarra At her last 2 wins she’s raced outside the leader before taking over for dominant wins. Think she can do it again. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo Jackson
