Purrfect Deal (Doomben Race 6 No. 9)
This Dundeel mare trained by Michael Costa on the Gold Coast has had four starts for two wins and a place. She settled 4th took over at the 150m and raced away for a 4.5 length win over 1400m at Gold Coast on 10 October, then was 2nd most of the way but couldn’t keep up with the winner for 2 lengths 2nd over 171om at Ipswich on 21 October. Looks a likely winner.

Each Way

All To Do (Doomben Race 5 No.4):
This four-year-old All Too Hard gelding trained by Stuart Kendrick has finished runner-up at all three starts this campaign for a career record of one win and five places from eight starts. He fought on but was no match for the winner when 2.3 lengths 2nd over 1000m at Sunshine Coast on 25 September, then led and paired off at the 200m and was outmuscled late for 0.3 length 2nd over 1200m at Sunshine Coast on 18 October. He drops in weight and looks a good each-way bet.

Best Lay

Usmanov  (Doomben Race 8 No. 6):
This five-year-old Choisir gelding is the early favourite in this Open Quality Handicap over 1110m. He resumed from a spell for 2.25 lengths 2nd over 900m at Gold Coast on 19 September, then hit the front at the 150m but got caught by the winner for 0.3 length 2nd over 1000m at Eagle Farm on 3 October. He is finding it hard to get another win and I suspect something will beat him again.

Key Comments The track is rated good and the rail is back to the true position. Best Bet Tippa (Morphettville Race 9 No. 2) Tippa has placed at both starts this time in, most recently in the Balaklava Cup. This is a bit easier than last start and he has won at this track and trip before. Top chance. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo Jackson Each Way Santastico (Morphettville Race 8 No. 2) He has

Horse Racing Tips: TAS Friday 4th October 2024

Key Comments An evening meeting with the first race at 5.25 pm. The track is a Soft 5 and the rail is +2 metres the entire circuit. As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with an advantage to those who find the inside lanes in the straight. Best Bet Zulu Angel (Launceston Race 7 No. 2) Zulu Angel won last start over 1650m at Devonport Synthetic after being runner-up 3 times

Horse Racing Tips: NSW Saturday 5th October 2024

The feature races include the Breeder's Plate (race 2), Gimrack Stakes (race 3), Dulcify Stakes (race 4), Flight Stakes (race 6), Air Premiere Stakes (race 7), The Metropolitan (race 8) and Tab Epsom (race 9). Best Bet Ostraka (Randwick Race 10 No. 4) Loved the return win when hitting the line hard and winning with ease. Stacked field and lots of chances but can go right on with things here and looks very well suited from

Horse Racing Tips: NSW Friday 4th October 2024

Key Comments Racing on a soft track and an 8 race program. Jeff Penza and Amy Mclucas both have a strong book of rides and are the jockeys to follow. The best bet has been racing in fine form and will take beating from the barrier. Best Bet Tulla Park (Moruya Race 7 No. 3) This looks the right race for Tulla Park. Has been consistent all prep and form reads good for this. The jockey hasn't missed the placings aboard and only
