This Akeed Mofeed mare has not been far from the winner and has placed at her last two starts. She ran on well for 0.75 lengths 2nd over 1200m at Gold Coast on 1 August, then ran on from well back for 0.2 length, 0.2 length 3rd over 1350m at Doomben on 22 August. She has won on all types of going and looks a nice each-way bet at the current price.

Getyourgreyon (Doomben Race 7 No. 8):
This Bel Esprit gelding is the early favourite in this BM 72 handicap over 1600m. He won by 2.75 lengths over 1200m on a heavy Gold Coast track in a field of four on 8 August, then ran on for 0.8 length 4th over 1350m at Doomben on 22 August. Other runners have a better record at this track and he does not look like value.
