He finished last campaign with 2.9 lengths 5th over 1400m at Gold Coast on 29 May, then resumed over 1350m at Doomben on 12 September where he was 8th at the home turn and ran on well to just miss for 0.1 length 2nd. He rates highly here.

Snitch (Eagle Farm Race 8 No. 2):
This six-year-old gelding has nine wins and eight places from 32 starts. He finished 0.2 length, 1.75 length 3rd behind The Candy Man over 1400m at Eagle Farm on 29 August, then jumped awkwardly, settled way back and was held up when running 3.2 lengths 7th in the Listed Weetwood Quality Handicap over 1200m at Toowoomba on 26 September. He is on a seven-day back-up and is worth an each-way bet.

Usmanov (Eagle Farm Race 6 No. 2):
This Choisir gelding is the early favourite in this Open Handicap over 1000m. He finished 1.6 lengths 4th in the Listed Hinkler Handicap over 1110m at Doomben on 30 May then was spelled for 16 weeks. He resumed for 2.25 lengths 2nd behind Zoustyle over 900m at Gold Coast on 19 September where the winner was just too good for him. This is a race with many chances and he doesn’t represent value.
