Our Belmont Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.

Border Force (Belmont Race 2 No. 1)
With a win and a 2nd place from two starts, this three-year-old gelding has a good start to his career. He debuted for 0.4 length 2nd over 1200m at Ascot on 8 December then fought hard to edge ahead late for a 0.4 length win over 1200m at Ascot on 22 December. He shouldn’t get into trouble in this small field and looks the main hope again.

Each Way

Noble Scot (Belmont Race 7 No. 3):
This four-year-old Alfred Nobel gelding has one win and five places from 12 starts. He led in to the straight but stopped quickly late to finish 5.8 lengths 10th over 1600m at Pinjarra Park on 16 December, then led all the way and gave nothing else a chance to finally break his maiden with a 4 length win over 1500m at Pinjarra on 23 December. William Pike sticks with him and he looks a solid each-way chance in this Class 1 handicap.

Best Lay

Pink Carats (Belmont Race 5 No. 4):
This four-year-old I Am Invincible gelding trained by Simon Miller is the early favourite in this Class Three handicap over 1200m. At the end of last campaign he finished 0.7 length 2nd over 1000m at Belmont on 26 June then was spelled for 25 weeks. He resumed for 4 lengths 7th over 1100m at Ascot where he started favourite and led to the turn. That was disappointing and I’m prepared to go around him here.

Horse Racing Tips: TAS Sunday 28th April 2024

Key Comments The track is Soft and the rail is +4 metres the entire circuit. As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with a slight advantage to those who land forward of midfield and can find a cart into the race from the wider lanes in the straight. Best Bet Sky Land (Hobart Race 1 No. 10) This 2YO filly takes on the older horses here but has been very game

Horse Racing Tips: SA Sunday 28th April 2024

Key Comments There are 7 races on a Good track where the rail is in the true position. Best Bet Lord Valen (Strathalbyn Race 2 No. 3) He’s been runner-up at both starts this campaign, at Murray Bridge then Balaklava. He gets his chance to lose his maiden status here. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo Jackson Each Way Tennessee Maggie (Strathalbyn Race 4 No. 12) Tennessee Magic was runner-up at Gawler last start and should

Horse Racing Tips: QLD Sunday 28th April 2024

Key Comments Features are the $75,000 The Fitzroy Open over 1300m (race 6) and $775,000 The Archer over 1300m (race 7). The track is rated Soft and the rail is +2.5m the entire circuit. Best Bet Penman (Rockhampton Race 5 No. 3) Last start he led most of the way on a bog track before being overhauled late. On a better track he should be hard to beat. Horse Racing Tips: VIC Sunday 28th April 2024

Key Comments 8 race card with a few short favourites that look hard to beat. The best bet comes up in race 5 and is knocking on the door for a win. Best Bet Subrising (Ballarat Race 5 No. 6) Comes off the back of 2 second placings and Egan will ride from the wide draw. A lot to like about the past few runs and looks a better hope than the favourite who may just get too far back in this.
