He was out the back and chasing along way from home at his Bendigo debut over 1100m but really surged to the line late to finish third beaten half a length. Is drawn well here and gives every indication he will be much better suited out to the 1400m with some race experience under his belt.

South Parade is currently rated a $4.40 chance in the last race on the card. He was okay first up at Bendigo, then weakened out after racing wide with out cover at Ballarat last start. He is yet to prove himself at 1400m and appears short enough here in a deep benchmark 70 to round out the card.
