Our Randwick Horse Racing Tips for Tuesday’s meeting.
Six Again (Randwick Race 6 No. 7)
This four-year-old Written Tycoon mare trained by Matthew Dunn has two wins and one place from three starts. When resuming after 23 weeks she found the front at the 250m and raced away for an impressive 3.8 length win in a Newcastle maiden over 900m on 18 September, then led all the way for a 0.9 length win over 1100m at Warwick Farm on a heavy track on 13 October. Leading hope.

The Face (Randwick Race 7 No. 10):
This four-year-old Rubick gelding trained by Gerald Ryan & Sterling Alexiou has two wins and four places from 9 starts. When resuming from a 22 week spell he kept chasing for 1.5 lengths 4th over 1100m at Randwick on 18 September, then didn’t have the best of runs when caught wide, eased and held up to finish 5.5 lengths 7th over 1200m at Doomben where he was vetted and found to have mucus in his nostril. Has won a recent trial and looks a good each-way chance.

Jojo Was A Man (Randwick Race 8 No.8):
This four-year-old Al Maher gelding trained by John Thompson is the early favourite in this BM 72 Handicap over 1600m. He was the leader on straightening but was caught late for 0.2 length 3rd over 1800m at Kensington on 29 September, then winded badly to finish 6.6 lengths 6th over 1800m at Kensington on 20 October. Could struggle from the wide barrier and others have better chances.

Key Comments The track is a synthetic tapeta-based surface and weather has minimal effect on how it races. The rail remains in the true position. As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with a slight advantage to those who land forward of midfield and can find a cart into the race from the wider lanes in the straight.
