Our Belmont Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

Kaptain Kaos (Belmont Race 2 No. 2)
This four-year-old Demerit gelding trained by Michael Grantham has five wins and three places from nine starts. When resuming after 15 weeks he charged ahead late for a 0.3 length win over 1200m at Belmont on 7 August, then arrived late for a 0.2 length win over 1200m at Belmont on 28 August. The extra 200m should suit and he should be hard to beat.

Each Way

Strathmore Rose (Belmont Race 9 No. 9):
This four-year-old War Chant mare trained by Roy Rogers at Albany has five wins and three places from 11 starts. She reached the lead at the 150m and clung on for a narrow win over 1000m at Belmont on 14 August, then fanned five wide on the turn but couldn’t finish it off and finished 2.4 lengths 6th over 1000m at Belmont on 4 September.  Will appreciate the softer going and looks a nice each-way bet.

Best Lay

La Farola (Belmont Race 5 No. 6):
This four-year-old Deep Field mare trained by Michael Lane has three wins and three places from 10 starts and is the early favourite in this rating 72+ Handicap over 1600m. She resumed from a 27 week spell with a 1.1 length win over 1400m at Belmont on 21 August, then ran 1.5 lengths 4th over 1400m at Belmont on 4 September. Two of the horses that beat her are in this race and she offers no value.

Horse Racing Tips: QLD Wednesday 8th May 2024

Key Comments The track is rated soft and the rail is +11 metres for the 9 race card. Best Bet Metalart (Eagle Farm Race 9 No. 9) Unbeaten at both his starts and should be running near the front. Both runs have been on soft going and he should be hard to beat. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo Jackson Each Way Thesecondatportsea (Eagle Farm Race 4 No. 4) She’s won 3 of her 5 starts

Horse Racing Tips: SA Wednesday 8th May 2024

Key Comments The track is rated soft and the rail is +7 metres from the 800m to 400m and +6 for the remainder. Best Bet Chosen Miss (Gawler Race 4 No. 1) Last start she was 0.5 length 2nd at Strathalbyn and the start before was a 4 length winner at Balaklava. She’s in form and gets a 3kg claim for Tala Hutchinson. Nicely placed. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo Jackson Each Way High On

Horse Racing Tips: NSW Thursday 9th May 2024

Key Comments The track is in the heavy 10 range. The rail is in 3 metres. The best bet has heavy form and looks a big hope with Gibbons steering. Best Bet Bellascent (Wyong Race 4 No. 6) Excellent run last start almost pulling off the win at decent odds. That was on heavy ground and it got within .2 of the winner. Should get conditions to suit again here and by this time of the day being drawn wide may not be

Horse Racing Tips: VIC Thursday 9th May 2024

Key Comments The rail is true. The best bet had no luck last run when a $101 chance and will start much shorter this time around. Best Bet Themoonsaballoon (Pakenham Race 4 No. 5) Remarkable effort to remain standing and hit the line like it did after the horse took a poor step and the jockey wasn't far off falling off. Picked up momentum regardless and steamed to the finish to just miss out on the win. This 6yo was $101.00 that day
