Our Randwick- Kensington Horse Racing Tips for Wednesdays meeting.

Toomuchtobear (Randwick Race 6 No. 6)
This four-year-old Press Statement gelding trained by Chris Waller has had two wins and three place from five starts. After three placings he chased hard to take the lead at the 150m and won a maiden plate by 0.2 length over 1400m at Bendigo on 1 July. Went on with it by racing away for a 2.22 length win over 1500m at Newcastle on 11 August. He will be hard to beat.

Agrum (Randwick Race 7 No. 8):
This four-year-old Deep Field gelding from the Matthew Smith stable has one win, one 2nd and one 3rd from three starts. He debuted with a 3.7 length win on a heavy track at Gosford then kept chasing but found the winner too strong when 0.15 length 2nd over 900m at Newcastle on 10 July. At his 3rd and latest start he got to the lead but was winded late for 2.2 lengths 3rd over 1150m at Kensington on 28 July. Hasn’t missed a place yet and is a great each-way chance.

Finally Realise (Randwick Race 3 No. 4):
This four-year-old All Too Hard gelding trained by Peter Robl is the early favourite in this Colts, Geldings and Entires BM 72 Handicap over 1250m. He kept chasing to find the front at the 250m and kept going for a 1.65 lengths win over 1150m at Kensington on 28 July, then was grabbed late for a nose 2nd over 1250m at Kensington on 18 August. May struggle in the heavy going and I’m looking to others that offer better value.

Horse Racing Tips: TAS Sunday 5th May 2024

Key Comments The track is a synthetic tapeta-based surface and weather has minimal effect on how it races. The rail remains in the true position. As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with a slight advantage to those who land forward of midfield and can find a cart into the race from the wider lanes in the straight.
