Our Warwick Farm Horse Racing Tips for Wednesdays meeting.

Le Gai Soleil (Warwick Farm Race 6 No. 8):
This four-year-old Tavistock mare trained by John O’Shea has four wins and one place from seven starts. She resumed from a 13 week spell for a narrow first-up win over 1550m at Kensington on 21 October where she ran the best 800-200m race sectionals of the day at the distance, then she kept chasing for 1.7 lengths 4th over 1800m at Rosehill on a soft track on 7 November. Resuming here after 20 weeks she has won first-up twice before and will be hard to beat.

Salina Dreaming (Warwick Farm Race 7 No. 6):
This four-year-old Dream Ahead mare trained by Angela Davies at Gosford has four wins and three places from eight starts. Last campaign she chased hard for a 0.2 length win first-up over 1100m at Randwick on 12 December, then was beaten at the 180m after having abrasions to both hind legs and finished 5.3 lengths 6th over 1100m on a heavy track at Kensington on 2 January. Resuming here after 12 weeks she has won two from three first-up and has been trialling well. She is worth an each-way bet.

Acrophobic (Warwick Farm Race 8 No. 7):

This three-year-old Dissident gelding is the early favourite in this BM 72 handicap over 1300m. He finished 7.5 lengths 6th in the Bondi Stakes on a heavy track over 1600m at Randwick on 24 October, then chased steadily for 3.2 lengths 5th in the Listed TAB Trophy Stakes over 1800m at Flemington on 3 November. Resuming froma 21 week spell he has been gelded and has trialled. This is a race with lots of chances and I am prepared to risk him first-up.
