Our Sandown Lakeside Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.

It’sourtime (Sandown Lakeside Race 6 No. 11):

This Danny O’Brien trained runner is second up on Wednesday.  He jumped out impressively prior to his debut win at Sale where he settled off the speed and charged home over the top of them.  That looks a good form race with third place getter All Stardom a subsequent Caulfield winner.  With a cleaner jump he can settle closer in the run and be hard to beat again.

Holster (Sandown Lakeside Race 5 No. 4):

Holster closed intently to run second at Sandown first up for his new stable.  Then last start at Werribee was able to break his maiden at start number seven.  Whilst the win was not spectacular on the eye he was one of the few horses to run well that did not find the rails in run on that day.  He should be peaking third up here and looks a good each way hope at double figure odds.

Ord (Sandown Lakeside Race 1 No. 5):

This three year old son of Written Tycoon is now deep into his first racing preparation.  He has been consistent finishing in the top three placings at all four career starts however is yet to put a race away.  At his latest start he disappointed at Caulfield after being heavily backed into $1.35.  Happy to bet around him at the short quote.
