Our Randwick Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

Masked Crusader (Randwick Race 9 No. 2)
This Toronado gelding has 3 wins and a place from his 5 starts. He won by 3 lengths over 1200m at Randwick on 9 May which was his third win in a row. After a 14 week break he resumed for 0.4 length 2nd over 1100m at Randwick on a heavy track and returned with blood present in one nostril. He will appreciate the firm going and has a 2kg claim. Should win.

Pace Stick (Randwick Race 2 No. 8):
This gelding from Coffs Harbour has two wins and two places from 5 starts. He was slowly away and worked over to lead but was grabbed late for 0.36 lengths 2nd over 1000m at Coffs Harbour on 6 August, then he led and kept going for a 1.01 length win over 1006m at Grafton on 17 August. He has drawn barrier 14 but has the pace to overcome that and looks a nice each-way bet.

Best Lay

Dreamforce (Randwick Race 8 No. 1):
This eight-year-old Fastnet Rock gelding is the early favourite in the Group 2 Tramway Stakes over 1400m. He won this race last year and is back to defend his title. He has a great record at Randwick but faded to finish 17 lengths off the winner when resuming in the Group 1 Winx Stakes at this track and distance on 22 August. He has great statistics but there are other very talented runners in this race and he doesn’t represent value.
