Big Bash Preview – January 18 & 19

A rare loss for the Scorchers on Sunday night going down to the second placed Sydney Sixers at the SCG by 6 runs in a nail biter.

The Hurricanes are shooting for three wins in a row after wins over the Melbourne Stars and Sydney Thunder in the last week.

I have Perth a clear favourite here but the $1.68 on offer I think that is short enough.

Happy to have something on Zac Crawley to score the most runs for the Hobart Hurricanes.  The English international is a class act and is likely to enjoy the fast bouncy conditions in Perth.

This looms as an important clash for both sides as the Renegades (3^rd) fight to hold their spot in the top five and the Thunder (6^th) look to force their way in.

The Thunder are coming off three losses and will be desperate to right the ship.  The Renegades on the other hand have won three of their last four, including two against cross town rivals the Stars and will be looking to continue that momentum on and put a two game gap between themselves and the  Thunder.

Looks a genuine flip of the coin this game so again looking to play the top run scorer market.  David Warner is yet to fire in his two games for the Thunder and I think he will be setting himself for a big one in Canberra on Thursday night.
