Arizona Cardinals @ Minnesota Vikings

Monday 31st October – 4 am Sydney time

I really like the Vikings here and they should be winning this, we just need the margin to get there.

The Vikings have only lost one game this year, that was to the Eagles in week 2, but have since won 4/4 at an average of 5.5 points. They have been a juggernaut on the offensive side of the ball with Dalvin Cook, Justin Jefferson, and Kirk Cousins. Defensively, they have just been fair, averaging just under 20 points against them but they have been defending the pass well, which is going to put more pressure on Kyler Murray who will be without James Connor this week.

The Cardinals have scored close to 22 points a game, but they are conceding 25 points, which isn’t ideal. Their defence against the run is okay, but against the pass, they are horrible. Minnesota are off a bye and back at home, so a win for them is imminent and I expect them to win 7+.

Las Vegas Raiders @ New Orleans Saints

Monday 31st October – 4 am Sydney time

Another game that will be really dictated by injury.

The Raiders have a lot of players who are questionable for this game, but one of them isn’t their star running back in Josh Jacobs who is in tremendous form. The Saints on the other hand will be without wide-receiving duo Jarvis Landry and Michael Thomas, whilst Marshon Lattimore is also out which is a blow to their defence.

The Raiders are coming off a big win over the Texans where Josh Jacobs ran for 143 yards and 3 touchdowns in their 18-point win. Meanwhile, the Saints were in a lot of trouble early against the Cardinals before coming back when it was all over to close the margin to eight points.

It’s hard to be confident in the Saints who are 2-5 this season and they have only covered the line once in seven games. I expect the Raiders to really take advantage on the offensive side of the ball before letting their defence face a weakened Saints offence.

San Francisco 49ers @ Los Angeles Rams

Monday 31st October – 7:25 am Sydney time

These two teams met in San Fran last time out where the 49ers saluted in impressive fashion.

Since then, the 49ers have been riddled with injuries and once again, will lose a few more players for this contest. On the defensive side of the ball they have lost Dre Greenlaw and Arik Armstead for this week but it’s the offensive side of the ball that has been hurt the most. They will be without Kyle Juszczyk and the biggest loss is Deebo Samuel, who tore the Rams apart last time out.

The Rams are coming off the bye and should be raring to go for this contest against their divisional rivals, and they will be looking for a revenge win. With all the injuries that the Niners have, I am expecting the Rams to win in a close one.
