Just the one match of interest on a very mundane slate of games. The Hawks have come into this season absolutely humming, they have scored over 120 points in both their games, proving them to be the offensive powerhouse that they were predicted to be in the off season. Their defence does lack the polish of a proper title contender, but Detroit have seriously struggled in their two games so far and they haven’t faced an offence even close to the strength of the Hawks.
The Hawks are a -9 point favourite at home here, it’s a large spread but they look on paper ridiculously too slick for a Detroit team that will be contending for a number one pick at seasons end. Atlanta should keep their winning ways humming at this early point of the season.
