Quirindi Jockey Club is located just 50 minutes from Tamworth and is a premier country race club. The track was founded in 1926 and was situated on “The Ranch” which is to the east of where the Tafe Collage is now located. They hosted their first meeting in 1927 and since 1946 the club has organised all the race meets and features for the races.

Although Quirindi Jockey Club doesn’t have a Group or Listed race, they host the famous Quirindi Cup as well as the Willow Tree Cup and Murrurundi Cup.

The easiest way to get to Quirindi Jockey Club is via car. Located just a short distance from the New England Highway and just 50 minutes from Tamworth. Those located outside of Tamworth, you can fly into Tamworth on their daily air service from Sydney or Brisbane. Outside of that, NSW Trains offer a daily service to Quirindi.
