Ballina Racecourse

Ballina Jockey Club is located just 1 hour from the Gold Coast and is just 30km from the white sandy beaches. The club hosts around 17 meetings a year which attract runners from both within New South Wales and over the border in Queensland.

Although Ballina Jockey Club doesn’t have a Group or Listed race, they host the famous Ballina Cup over the mile.

The Ballina Cup is held in September each year and attracts large nominations for the races and attracts crowds from all over.

The easiest way to get to Ballina Jockey Club is via car as the club boast unlimited parking opposite to the main club house. It is located just 1 hour south of the Gold Coast. Other ways to get to the track would be via public transport or taxi when travelling from within Ballina, as the track is located just 2km from the town centre.
