Our Warrnambool Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.
Sly Corner (Warrnambool Race 2 No. 6)
Sly Corner has had two runs back from a spell. On both occasions he has lead and been collared in the concluding stages by horses I have plenty of time for. He maps to come across and control this from his outside gate and should take plenty of catching in a winnable maiden.

Tadashi Hamada (Warrnambool Race 9 No. 8):
Lightly raced galloper who has one win and two seconds from his four starts. I loved his effort first up at Geelong where he lengthened nicely from the back to finish second. He should take good improvement from that and he maps to get a lovely run in behind the speed here. With even luck he should be in the finish.

Ancestry (Warrnambool Race 8 No. 1):
Ancestry has come up as an early equal favourite in the Wangoom Handicap. He is a talented gelding but not I’m not sure he is at his best at the moment. His only win this prep came on a heavily biased track at Moonee Valley. His other three runs have been fairly plain and he has plenty of weight to lump here. I have three or four others ahead of him.

Key Comments Expecting the track to suit those up on speed. The rail is true. Saving the best bet until last coming off the back of some solid placings and finds its self in the right race. Best Bet Smart Legend (Canterbury Race 8 No. 4) Excellent effort last start when taking the rails run and missing in a diving finish. This race is if anything, easier and with even luck from the barrier it can breakthrough for a well deserved win after
