This four-year-old mare from the Mick Price stable has won four of her six starts. She was hampered and then dropped right out to finish 17 lengths 12th in the Listed Lightning Stakes over 1050m at Morphettville on 25 July then was spelled. Resuming after 26 weeks she ran on strongly for a 0.75 length win over 1109m at Geelong on 27 January and should return to the winners circle again.

Almadrava (Moonee Valley Race 5 No. 11):
This four year-old Sebring mare has three wins and three places from 11 starts. She took over at the 150m for a 0.2 length win over 955m at Moonee Valley on 18 December, then was slowly away and chased steadily the entire straight for 3.5 lengths 2nd over 955m at Moonee Valley on 22 January. She drops 2kg from last run and is a great each-way hope.

Coup De Tonnerre (Moonee Valley Race 6 No. 4):
This three-year-colt has come up as the early favourite in this BM 64 handicap over 1600m. He finished last campaign with a 2.75 length win in a 2YO maiden plate on a heavy track over 1400m at Bendigo on 3 May, then was spelled. After 38 weeks he resumed for 1.4 lengths 7th over 1400m at Pakenham Park on 28 January . This race is tougher and I’m happy to risk him.
