Madame Du Gast has plenty of talent and was very good when resuming despite being caught in the bog of the track. Back onto drier ground and a very in form Craig Williams are both big ticks. Madame Du Gast maps for the dream run and is coming off the best last start rating of this bunch. Goes close in this.

Lots to learn in this race but I am hoping La Gioia is ready to go first up because its last run rated a lot better than this lot in open company. It wasn’t far off Va Via fresh last time and that kind of form should see it go close in this.

Red Duster was good in a jump out and maps well but takes on some horses who have contested in open company. This race is wide open and being priced as favourite just off one trial is a bit of a query. The early $3.70 is short enough in a stacked race.
