This three-year-old filly has two wins and four places from eight starts. She resumed from a 22 week spell for 1.75, 0.2 lengths 3rd over 1200m at Launceston on 12 December, then led all the way for an impressive 3.25 length win over 1150m at Devonport Tapeta Synthetic on 20 December. She drops 1.5 kg from that run, has drawn ideally in barrier one and has a great chance to make it back-to-back wins.

This five-year-old Fiorente gelding has raced at this track seven times for five wins, and has won all four of his races this campaign. He won the Golden Mile over 1650m at this track on 4 December, then came home best over the final 100m to win the Sheffield Cup over 1650m at this track on 20 December, where the runner-up was Newhart who won the Devonport Cup last year. He is flying at the moment and is a good each-way bet.

This four-year-old gelding is the early favourite in this BM 66 handicap over 1350m. He finished last campaign with a narrow win over 1880m at this track on 20 September, then resumed after 11 weeks for 2.8 lengths 6th over 1400m at Launceston on 9 December. He has a good record at this track but didn’t impress when resuming and others look to have better chances
