Horse Racing Tips : TAS Sunday 30 April 2023

Our Hobart Horse Racing Tips for Sunday’s meeting.

Best Bet

Geegees Gemstone (Hobart Race 7 No. 2) & Alvarinho (Hobart Race 7 No. 9):

Both come through the same race where they finished alongside one another after being unlucky in-transit. That race rated really well, and with kind draws here both runners should sit handy and prove hard to beat. 1400m looks suitable for both runners at this stage of their preparations.

$3.30 & $5.50

Best Each Way

Ole Ola (Hobart Race 6 No. 7):

OLE OLA looks a progressive enough mare for the Scott Brunton stable. She ran really well last preparation, notching up her maiden in style and then running well behind some handy runners in CHINCHERO and NAMABAALE. The mare definitely has a few quirks so the booking of stable rider David Pires is a nice push, given he rode her in her latest trial. Barrier looks a touch sticky but if she jumps with them should be able to find a backside midfield and be produced in the straight.

$7.00

Best Lay

Mira Flores (Hobart Race 1 No. 9):

Now 7th up this preparation, this mare from the John Blacker yard has had her chances in easier races this preparation. Looks very short in a maiden full of winning hopes.

Lay (WIN) at < $5.00
