Our Hobart Horse Racing Tips for Sunday’s meeting.
Key Comments
Track: Soft 5
Rail: True (Previously in the +9m position)
Notes:
Track continues to race well, the inside may be advantaged here given the rail movements.
As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with a slight advantage to those who land forward of midfield and can find a cart into the race from the wider lanes in the straight.
Jockeys to follow:

Best Bet
Rich Clan (Hobart Race 6 No. 1):
Massive drop in grade off a nice run behind the honest campaigner STREET TOUGH. Gets in really well with the use of a 4kg claim and should be able to sit up on speed, despite being drawn wide and give a good sight. This looks the perfect set up for Ryota Morimoto to claim a victory early in his apprenticeship.

Best Each Way
Harper Mae (Hobart Race 4 No. 3) & Adachi (Hobart Race 4 No. 2):
Open race and happy to dutch two runners for a similar collect.
HARPER MAE is 1st up from VIC, a proven success for this camp and the races she’s contested in Victoria are much harder than this lean Class 1. Think she could surprise 1st up and run well if ready, would love to see some market support before piling in.
ADACHI another runner of interest. Checked for a run last start and rightfully couldn’t pick itself up again to finish in the money. He’s drawn out this time and if champion hoop Brendon McCoull can slot into the running line or 3-wide trail, he should have ample room to show something late.

Key Comments Expect those on speed to be suited. The track is in the good range. The best bet is in the last of the day and has strong claims. Best Bet Frawley (Geelong Race 9 No. 5) Maps a little sticky but looks well placed to return to the winners enclosure. The run behind Estirella 2 back is more than good enough for this field and still has plenty of scope and upside to be taking out a race like this.
