Horse Racing Tips : NSW Wednesday 30th December 2020

Best Bets

Our Coffs Harbour Horse Racing Tips for Wednesdays meeting.

Ciao Uno (Coffs Harbour Race 6 No. 1):
This three-year-old filly from the Kris Lees stable has one win and four places from six starts. She kept chasing for 0.68 lengths 2nd over 1200m at Port Macquarie on 12 November, then levelled up at the 150m but was outgunned late for 0.31 lengths 2nd over 1200m at Newcastle on 24 November. She should race on the speed, has a 2kg claim and looks the leading hope.

How to pick a winner

Each Way

Rubick’s Command (Coffs Harbour Race 9 No. 2):
This four-year-old Rubick gelding trained by Jeremy Sylvester at Cessnock has one win and two places from four starts. He reached the lead at the 200m but found one better late to finish 0.23 length 2nd over 1100m at Armidale on 1 December, then took over soon after straightening and held the lead for a good 0.92 length win over 1300m at Gunnedah on 15 December. Looks a solid each-way chance.

Best Lay

Mighty Quinn (Coffs Harbour Race 8 No. 6):
This six-year-old gelding trained by Jay Bellamy on the Gold Coast is the early favourite in this BM 58 handicap over 2015m. He led into the straight but was swamped by the winner for 1.75 lengths 2nd over 2200m at Gold Coast on 28 November, then began well but was winded late and finished 11.75 lengths 7th over 1800m at Gold Coast on 5 December. Doesn’t represent value here.

Horse Racing Tips: VIC Tuesday 18th June 2024

Key Comments Racing on the synthetic. The rail is in the true position. The best bet looks very hard to beat off the back of a strong run when resuming and looks suited by the drop in grade. Best Bet Corner Off (Ballarat Race 6 No. 10) Great return on the heavy track when running 3rd and the horse in second has won again since so the form has been ticked off. Tricky draw but was never far away in this grade last

Horse Racing Tips: QLD Tuesday 18th June 2024

Key Comments The track is rated good and the rail is back to the true position. Best Bet Sailor's Rum (Mackay Race 1 No. 1) Sailor’s Rum transferred from T & C McEvoy to Nick Walsh back in May and is having his first run for 13 weeks. He’s had 2 trials at Rockhampton and won both by good margins. Leading hope. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo Jackson Each Way Ruby Sparkles (Mackay Race 6

Horse Racing Tips: VIC Sunday 16th June 2024

Key Comments The track is soft and the rail is out 3 metres. The best bet looks a class above of the raced brigade and the best each way is due for a win. Best Bet Flying Mean (Seymour Race 2 No. 2) Love the form it brings here and has been well in the market to date. Last start hit the line well when a $2.80 favourite and that form should hold up in this moderate maiden. Hard to beat. Check odds

Horse Racing Tips: TAS Sunday 16th June 2024

Key Comments The track is a synthetic tapeta-based surface and weather has minimal effect on how it races. The rail remains in the true position. As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with a slight advantage to those who land forward of midfield and can find a cart into the race from the wider lanes in the straight. Best Bet Es And Es (Devonport Race 5 No. 1) He ran on
