Our Warwick Farm Horse Racing Tips for Wednesdays meeting.

Bethencourt (Warwick Farm Race 6 No. 5):
This four-year-old grey Puissance de Lune gelding trained by Kim Waugh at Wyong has two wins and two places from his six starts. On resuming after a 28 week spell he didn’t get clear until the final 200m and kept chasing for 2.5 lengths 4th over 1250m at Canterbury on heavy going on 5 May, then was badly held up early in the straight and got clear late for 0.24, 0.63 length 3rd when he looked unlucky over 1550m at Kensington on 19 May. James McDonald sticks with him and he should win.

Adelaide’s Light (Warwick Farm Race 7 No. 7):
This three-year-old Adelaide colt trained by Peter & Paul Snowden has two wins and two places from six starts. He chased hard to find the front at the 150m and raced away for a 1.3 length win over 1400m at Newcastle with the best last 600m race sectionals, then chased hard for 0.2,0.2 length 3rd over 1400m at Warwick Farm on a heavy track on 12 May with the best last 800m race sectional. Drawn well in barrier 2 he looks a great each-way chance.

Cafe Royal (Warwick Farm Race 5 No. 1):
This four-year-old Snitzel mare is the early favourite in this Fillies & Mares BM 72 handicap over 1300m. She resumed from a 21 week spell with a 2.91 length win over 1200m at Newcastle on 8 May, then was the early leader but winded in the latter stages for 3.27 lengths 7th over 1200m at Rosehill Gardens. She has drawn nicely but I am prepared to risk her in this field with many chances.
