Our Warwick Farm Horse Racing Tips for Wednesdays meeting.

Billiondollarbaby (Warwick Farm Race 2 No. 1):
This two-year-old  I Am Invincible filly trained by Peter & Paul Snowden was impressive winning her only start at Canterbury on a soft track. She jumped awkwardly and got to the lead straightening then kept going with the best last 200m race sectional. Prior to that she won two trials in March – one on a good track and one on heavy. Should win this 2YO fillies handicap.

Good Stock (Warwick Farm Race 7 No. 6):
This four-year-old Tavistock gelding trained by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott has two wins and a place from five starts. At the end of last campaign he finished 1.7 lengths 4th over 1400m at Warwick Farm on 25 March, then resumed after 54 weeks with a 1.05 length win over 1400m at Newcastle on 10 April. That was a strong win and he carries 2kg less here. Looks a nice each-way chance.

Best Lay

Juan Diva (Warwick Farm Race 6 No. 3):
This four-year-old Snitzel mare is the early favourite in this Mares BM 72 handicap over 1200m. She resumed from a 25 week spell with 3 lengths 2nd over 1100m on a soft track a Warwick Farm on 31 March, then started favourite but finished 13.3 lengths 10th over 1300m at Hawkesbury on 14 April after being bumped, crowded and restricted for room to the extent she was not tested in the final 200m. She can be hard to follow and I’m prepared to risk her here.

Best Bet Southern Shooter (Murray Bridge Race 5 No. 4) Resumed from a 20 week break to run 3rd over 1400m at Balaklava where he was held up several times and ran home well once he saw daylight. The step up to 1600m should suit and he looks a winning chance. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo

Key Comments The 'Bool carnival continues and the feature on the card is the Wangoom Handicap (race 8). Tricky card to sort out but going for the best bet in the feature who is 3/3 on this track and class can come to the fore. Best Bet Tuvalu (Warrnambool Race 8 No. 1) He is 3/3 on this track and form last prep reads well against these including a length loss behind Pinstriped, a length loss behind Alligator Blood and half a length
